Everyone you meet probably has some complaint about the quality of TV, radio and cable media these days. Help teach others that there are ways to make a difference. These flyers, posters and even short radio clips make it easy for you to help educate your neighbors and friends about what's at stake and what can be done about it.
- Educate reporters on cable TV issues. Print out the Reporter's Guide to Cable TV and Broadband Internet (PDF) to share it with local reporters and use in your press campaigns to help promote policies for diverse, democratic, accessible TV and Internet. Produced by Media Alliance, Active Voice and others.
- Download printable factsheets. From "10 Things Big Media Doesn't Want You To Know" to "10 Policies to Fix Our Media," Free Press offers a series of fact-sheets you can print out to bring to meetings, hand out at local events and educate your friends and neighbors.
- Download flyers, posters and other outreach materials you can use and adapt. Collected by Reclaim the Media from the 2003-2004 activist fight against media ownership deregulation, these materials can help you educate your community.
- Get media democracy speakers on your local radio. From short commentaries to panels and speeches, many of these audio pieces are available for replay on public, community and college radio stations, collected by Reclaim the Media.
